Nobody's EMAIL: In the Lap of Baby Jesus

Nobody Gets EMAIL on Saturday Night.

I just got this one yesterday. It's simple. It's too the point, and it expresses exactly what I've been feeling like this week. Sometimes, when the world gets too crazy...you just want to curl up into Jesus' lap.

If we only had the sense of dogs...

Here is a heartwarming photo from the news in Sana Catarina, Brazil.

A Nativity Scene was erected in a church yard.

During the night the folks came across this scene. An abandoned dog was looking for a comfortable, protected place to sleep. He chose baby Jesus as his comfort. No one had the heart to send him away, so he was there all night.

  1. Anyone out there remember this?

    "He prayeth best, who loveth best
    All things both great and small;
    For the dear God who loveth us,
    He made and loveth all."

    Obviously, the dog knew where to find his Comforter!

  2. Did anyone every get "the rest of the story" about what happened to the dog in the morning. My heart wants to believe that someone gave the poor thing a forever home filled with love. .....any follow-up such as that?

  3. As far as I know...I have no idea what happened to this pup.

    Let's hope he got a home.

  4. This was such a cute picture. We do in fact need to curl up in the lap of Jesus. Because while it's true that in reality we are all "Nobodies", We are somebody very important to Almighty God. He sent His Son to die to redeem us from our sins and our filth so that we would be able to be with Him. I'd say that makes us pretty significant. check out needgod.com to find out just how much you're loved.
