Pope Benedict and the Demons of Politico
Nobody Perfect:--- on a Monday, but last week, this guy, Pope Benedict, managed to be imperfect almost every day of the week last week. He just couldn't get a break from not only, the vulgarity of his own Cardinals and Bishops, but all the people in the world blaming HIM for allowing pedophilia in his church to go on, and on...and on...and on...and on...and on...and on....and on..and...on.
Not his fault. He says that God gives him the strength to not be "intimidated" by critics of petty gossip.(Petty gossip? What's petty about criminal acts? What did I miss here?)
Like the petty gossip that he told everyone that knew to keep all this horrific stuff a secret. In other words...bug off world. I'm the Pope. I can forgive anything.
Put Pope Benedict up against the historical Henry VIII, and I'd say, old Henry might come out ahead in the moral department. After all...he only chopped off a few heads. Molesting thousands of little helpless boys...well....that's not in the Pope list of "sins."
Confession is all you need for him.
So...I wonder what would Jesus would say about the Pope's trifle imperfections? Don't you?
We can't call Jesus back to give help us out, so I say we call in, an exorcist. Obviously, the Pope of Benedict, is possessed. A demon named Politico, has taken over his soul, and it's going to take a lot more than prayer to get it out.
I'm praying for Aliens to come and get him, a nice big fat UFO..filled with Pope molesters.
(God, if I keep up this joking, Ann Coulter will be calling me.)

How come the President of the US has not been criticised for covering up what goes on down in the bowels of his organisational elements? Is he in charge or not?

And General Motors and IBM. And Microsoft and any of the many large organisations which employ thousands of people. All MUST statistically have paedophiles working in their ranks who touch up small boys. Why do we not hear of these managing Directors and CEOs getting hauled into the headlines.
They have far more clout than a Pope.
Just look at the Public Education system. There is barely a day that goes by without a report of a 25 or 40 year old female teacher who is found having sex with a 12 year old boy. It is hardly suprising considering that there are hundreds of thousands of female teachers and again, ( vastly outnumbering the Oppressive, Dominant male teachers) statistically, there are bound to be perverts and rapists amongst them.
But do we ever hear of the Head honcho of the Education Department getting villified for 'not knowing'?
How about the record of children in care? Again, every week one hears of some 'Ward of the State' caught stealing, taking drugs, robbing chemist shops or prostitutng themelves. Or those in State - run Orphanages being molested or beaten or sexually abused. How come the heads of these Government Departments - who, let's face it are far more powerful than a Bishop or even a friggin' Cardinal - don't get named and shamed?
Why is it that only the Catholic Church is targetted?
I do not excuse Catholics. I do not excuse the Pope and Cardinals and errant priests. But why it it that we ONLY hear about them and no one else?
I think, Joyanna, you need to mention that.
