The Everyday People of One Nation

Nobody's Opinion: Not too long ago, I was watching reruns of old bands who had made their appearances back in the 1960's on The Ed Sullivan Show, and I noticed something I had never noticed before...Sly Stone was performing his hit , "Everyday People" with his band, and it was the members of that band that struck me as being very interesting. I don't think I've ever SEEN such diversity of people. Here was a black man, who had not one, but TWO women musicians, (One was black) one Spanish musician, a WHITE drummer, and another black musician, and as I listened to the lyrics it dawned on me:
Wow...they started with the "diversity" crap all the way back in the Sixties! Sly Stone, purposely filled his band with different people to make a statement. That band COULD have been put together by promoters with agenda's. That happens all the time.

Sometimes I'm right then I can be wrong

A butcher, a banker, a drummer and then
Makes no difference what group I'm in

If you had the tenacity to watch the ONE NATION event last Saturday, where the unions, the communists, and the black caucus of liberals gathered on the Capital Steps..you would have heard once again, Sly Stones' song- Everyday People being played for a whole new generation of hippies. In, fact,...you saw a lot of the old peace signs, and a lot of young black people singing along. I felt as if I should run and put on my old bell bottoms and dig up my old hippie beads, and start dancing around with flower petals.

It was the sixties all over again. The main menu and common theme of the event was we are ONE NATION...gays, blacks, Hispanics, illegals, and we all have a right to jobs, health care, jobs, and so we must all get along!

Except for those white tea party people...they are evil. Harry Bellefonte even said so.

So, if you wonder if Sly was part of a marketing ploy to promote "diversity," then you have to wonder why the head of the NAACP at the meeting is a Mulatto. He was about as white as my mother. Was he picked for that position, or voted in? And we have a BLACK Republican leader.

My goodness...we could all just get along if the government would just give us all free jobs, free education, free medical care...Castro be proud.

A lot of bad things were said about the tea party people, and there was one sign that said, "Fight Hate, Turn off Fox News." But, it's okay to hate the tea party, because they're racist.

Funny, they keep talking about changing the old ways, and then they give us...the SIXTIES! A horrible memory, please...they keep trying to drag us back.

Now many boomers have woken up and realized they were drugged with hallucinogenics and sex, and pretty much wasted their youth on both. While we were fighting in Vietnam to stop the communists, they came over here and infiltrated our universities...not to mention, Bill and Hillary Clinton's world view.

I noticed there were mostly black people at the One Nation event, I thought it a riot that at exactly 4p.m. the crowd disappeared before La RAZA came on. George Clinton and his band of merry revolutionist played to a crowd of about thirty old white people. Somewhere, free booze and food was being handed out to all the unions for doing their duties. .

So much for us all getting along. The least the blacks could have done was stick around to give La RAZE their ONE NATION support.

While this whole festivals of Chavez was going on, Obama and Rahm Emanuel got out of dodge. and the pundits on the cable networks were all taking about his statement last week. He mentioned for his base to remain faithful...and that it took us a long time to end slavery...

Put in context of his actions and words and supporters--- that can only mean that what he really meant by that statement is that changing this country from a freedom loving people, to communism won't happen overnight. The communists writings have always taught that to go from Capitalism to Communism you must become a socialist first.

These people want jobs...provided by the government.

The government is broke. So, where do they think all this money is going to come from to pay for their jobs? The government? Where does the government get it's money? Thin air?
When you keep a country so ignorant that they don't even comprehend simple mathematics, all you can do is put on your old flip flops and sing:
